The Maker’s Kitchen

Atlanta, Georgia

This kitchen refresh was rooted in flow, material integrity, and a deep appreciation for craftsmanship. We opened up the layout by removing a dividing wall, allowing the island to extend and the kitchen to connect fluidly with the breakfast nook. Original elements like the cedar beams and diamond-patterned windows anchored the home's charm, while new layers—soapstone countertops, hand-cut zellige tile, and a sculptural plaster hood—added depth and a modern, grounded elegance. Every surface was considered, with an emphasis on texture, tone, and timelessness. The result: a space that feels elevated but effortless, rich but never overworked.
