We took this 1950s-era bathroom from dated to decadent. Pale oak cabinetry and a strand of illuminated, faceted crystals bring in a glow that’s equal parts softness and statement. Under the window, a sculptural soaking tub sets the tone, while a new steam shower steals the show with a barrel-vaulted ceiling and ombré tile in warm taupe and pearl—a little drama, all intention.

We carved out a stone-wrapped niche for the double vanity, adding depth, texture, and just the right amount of edge. Custom millwork hides everything from pull-out hampers to a built-in skincare fridge, because beauty and function shouldn’t compete. The result: a primary bath that’s serene, smart, and just a little bit extra—in the best possible way.
